We are based in a purpose-built facility in Cuautitlán Izcalli, Mexico City.Reporting to the Operation Director and working closely with the Global Quality Director, the Quality Manager has an important role in the organisation; ensuring that we offer products of the highest quality to our customers.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Be an advocate of company values and an ambassador for Quality stewardship across the site.Lead the Eutectic Mexico Quality Assurance team, having overall responsibility for Quality and providing the team with motivating leadership and clear direction.Set standards in line with the Castolin Eutectic Quality Management system, industry norms and customer requirements.Ensure that products are compliant with specification and are fit for purpose.Implement Quality procedures and production controls at every stage in the production process, monitoring and trending control point data to ensure that production processes are tightly controlled.Manage and plan Quality control and inspection activities across the site.Drive Quality & Efficiency into Manufacturing and Supply Chain operations and processes.Work with the Global Quality Director to grow and develop the Quality Management System, with a focus on the use of Quality Tools and in line with the company's commitment to continuous improvement, excellent product quality and best-in-class customer service.Ownership of the site Quality Management System.Maintain ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System to ensure compliance.Management Representative to audit bodies, and Auditor, with responsibility for internal audit process and coordination with audit bodies for external audits.Responsible for dealing with all aspects of Customer Complaint and Non-Conformance management.Rigorously focus on eliminating product Non-Conformances, logging and reporting them to the site leadership team, determining Root Cause and implementing Corrective Actions and Preventative Actions - and ensuring that these are fully validated through Non-Conformance review.Actively work to eliminate Product and Process Non-Conformances, product defects and waste – resulting in an acceptable Cost of Quality and Cost of Poor Quality.Put in place an effective Quality Inspection Process where both the Quality Inspectors and the Production Operators are fully trained in Production Processes and Product Inspection and evaluation techniques.Support the Supplier Evaluation and Development Process with Quality input.Report Quality findings and issues to Senior Management on a daily basis.Compile Quality information for input to the Management review.Participate in meetings held at various levels in the organisation.Lead the Objectives setting process for Quality Assurance Team employees.Lead the Performance and Development Dialogue process for Quality Assurance Team employees.3rd Level Degree in a science or engineering related discipline with a minimum of 5 years' experience.Excellent Knowledge of ISO standards and the ISO certification process.People management and people development skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Team working across all functions.Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels.Strong Planning, Organising and Time Management skills.Change Management & Influence experience.Developing & Coaching Individuals/Teams
