Quality Manager

**Job description**This position is responsible for providing process engineering support to the production lines and improving assembly processes.**Duties and Responsibilities**:- Perform time studies and line balancing on assembly lines.- Support facility layout and improvement projects.- Train operators on assembly processes.- Propose and implement improvements to existing products, processes, and procedures.- Design and implement new tools to help improve quality and productivity.- Work with Test and Quality Engineers to reduce cycle-time and resolve manufacturing issues on a timely basis.- Assist Process Engineer in NPI (New Product Introduction) and process improvement.- Provide production floor support as required.- Perform other duties as assigned.**Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:- Knowledge of Tact Time Analysis, Lean production methods, KanBan, and lean manufacturing- Understanding of quality systems such as Six Sigma- Knowledge of Manufacturing BOM (bill of material) structure- AutoCAD, Visio, and SAP knowledge- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, and prioritization skills- Proven ability to function independently and multi-task- Must have ability to remain flexible in a dynamic work environment**Education and Experience**:- Minimum Associate's degree with 2 years of process, industrial, or manufacturing engineering experience.- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.- Contract manufacturing experience is a plus.Ability to commute/relocate:- 32690, Ciudad Juárez, Chih.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
