As Quality Manager, you will have the opportunity to coordinate compliance with quality systems based on the quality standard by verifying the systems and executing follow-up audits, reporting directly to the Regional Quality Manager.
YOUR TASKS WILL BE: Ensure compliance with plant quality systems. Plan and coordinate the development of performance improvement strategies, systematic and preventive actions. Check that the design of quality systems complies with the IATF16949 quality standard, customer requirements, Lear, and SOX procedures. Prepare documentation of quality records. Document findings and close actions. Quality control activity management. Customer presentations for quality issues. Prepare and analyze internal quality reports for management staff review. Manage engineering changes and customer complaints. Track new releases. TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field. 3+ years as Quality Manager or related role within the automotive manufacturing industry (wiring harnesses preferred). Knowledge of AIAG core tools, IATF16949, six sigma, quality control, quality systems, and assurance, as well as problem-solving skills.
