.**Location**:Juárez, Nuevo León**BASIC FUNCTION**Responsible for developing, analyzing and implementing the quality program in the Three plants and overseeing compliance of quality standards established by the company. Moreover, this position supervises the industrial engineering area, ensuring the implementation of adequate manufacturing processes and the continuous improvement projects aimed to achieve efficiency and productivity, as well as, decrease waste and cost. Improve the working conditions using Engineering techniques and ensuring the accurate and correct Standard Costs calculation of each product (time studies, BOM, weights).**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**1. Direct the day to day efforts of the Industrial Engineers, Quality Engineers, ISO Coordinator and New Product Engineer.2. Supervise the Continuous Improvement Program (KOS) and projects such as: Six Sigma, V-DEP, 5´s, Connection Maps, Set up reduction, Six Step Improvement Model, Value Stream Mapping, Visual Pull - Kanban, 3P and Ergonomics. As well as, all the internal Standard Work Events in both plants.3. Develop and coordinate activities such as: Cycle time reduction, worker effort and inventory reduction, floor improvement, to improve work conditions, reducing or eliminating waste, using the 7 waste reduction forms.4. Coordinate the ISO-9002 system Implementation and develop necessary activities in order to keep the Certification and improve the Quality System.5. Determine the technical feasibility of new product concepts and modifications to existing products. Define conditions for new products in the Plant, minimizing problems in the process when the product is introduced. Ensure that the Operation Certification process was fulfilled during verification.6. Analyze the process to determine the adequate work conditions, related to space, layouts, lighting, breaks, manpower, tools and equipment.7.Work with Production to minimize rework or scrap in the new products and actual products.8.Ensure that the information in SAP (related with the production versions of plate numbers, cost collectors, run schedule headers, bill of materials and cross-reference table) is correct and accurate.9.Follow up on new products in each stage of the process to assure that the procedures are followed and develop corrective actions if are needed.10.Ensure that the finished product meets the Quality specifications, and support the different areas of the process to reduce the possibility of a bad product during the process.11.Ensure that the critical materials received in the Plant, such as cardboards, fittings and the tools used in the Casting Shop meet the Specifications.12.Verify that the testing methods, tools and equipment meet with the determined procedures and specifications required for finished goods.13.Verify that the Labs test such as: water consumption, color, performance, dimensions and verifications meet with the established procedures and specifications.14
