Descripción del trabajo y responsabilidades:**Position: Quality Manager Reports to: Plant Manager**:**Supervise: Quality Department**1.0 General Summary:- Participates in the Quality System Management to ensure customer satisfaction by improving quantitative processes.- Work closely with all departments to ensure continuous improvement, in accordance with customer requirements.- Internal Scrap: 7%.- External Scrap: 2%- Customer claims: 0- Productivity: 85%2.0 Main Duties and Responsibilities:- Plan, organize, develop, monitor, and control the activities for the implementation of the Quality Management Systems.- Lead internal quality audits and verify the implementation of preventive / corrective actions derived from them.- Address the observations of external audits of the client and third parties, as well as the verification of the closure of the generated actions.- Analyze the information of management indicators for the design of new strategies or corrective business plans.- Responsible for implementing and maintaining product quality requirements while maintaining the requirements of ISO9001 / IATF16949 standards and directing internal quality initiatives.- Manages and directs all the personnel of his/her department.- Works closely with sales department to link customer and supplier development activities- Monitors process controls, develops, and evaluates process recommendations for either adjustments or equipment changes.- Monitors product/material evaluations and procedures and monitors process control to ensure all products are within customer specifications.- Develops and implements inspection and sampling techniques and quality control plans.- Conducts investigations of product defects and recommends changes to the product or quality standards as a guarantee.- Interacts with and visits customers / suppliers when necessary to ensure they meet quality requirements.- Maintains the corrective action system, both internal and external.- Plans, organizes, develops, monitors, and controls the activities for the implementation of the Quality Management Systems.- Leads internal quality audits and verifies the implementation of preventive / corrective actions derived from them.- Addresses the observations of the external quality audits, as well as verifies the closing of the generated actions.- Analyzes the information from management indicators for the design of new strategies or corrective plans.Requerimientos:**3.0 Competencies**:**ADMINISTRATIVE****TECHNICAL****HUMAN**- Decision making Problem solving.- Delegate responsibilities- Customer focus- Facilitate change- Lead through vision and values- Customer focus- Lead through vision and values- CQI-27- VDA 6.3- Adaptability- Confidence builder- Contribute to team success- High performance for success
