.**Location**- Monterrey, Mexico**Job ID**- 0000012483**Category**- Engineering & Science- This position's purpose is to lead, handle and engage the team and ensure a strong focus on local execution and support partners on site (QEHS, Mould Qualification).**What your day will look like**:- To lead a high-performance team, which is highly motivated and capable of delivering strong results (SQDCP) and optimizing the Mould Approval operations continuously (Metrology & Qualification). This process is the one validating and approving our new injection moulds before mass production.- To secure timely/relevant tactical plans and their execution to have the team supporting and enabling the strategic direction of Engineering in the LEGO Group. This is achieved by driving projects/tasks through team and cross-functional collaboration.- To Ensure an extreme level of collaboration with the local site collaborators (QEHS and Mould Qualification Leaders and organizations) and with global partners (other global peer functions and R&D organizations, etc.). At the same time, making decisions based on that detailed understanding of dependencies and delivering according to Customer changing needs.- To develop own team by using the business needs/opportunities with the individual needs for development of the team members. During this process, clear and high-reaching expectations must be set, and eventually, accountability towards that and learning extraction are to be secured.
