We are looking for a talented **QUALITY PROCESSES ENGINEER** to join our team specializing in **QUALITY** for our **CUMMINS** in **San Luis Potosí, SLP, México**.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
**Position Summary**:
The Quality Process Engineer at Cummins is a professional dedicated to ensuring excellence in the company's processes and products. Both internally and externally, their work is focused on ensuring customer satisfaction, continuously improving quality standards and contributing to Cummins' business success.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for managing systems related to plant customer issues, leading containment activities and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Participates in change management activities and verifies products and processes to support decisions.
- Supports or leads quality audits and provides technical assistance to other functional areas.
- Collaborates in the prioritization of continuous improvement using proven industry methodologies.
- Has knowledge of and applies Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) tools.
- May lead safe launch initiatives or support them through VPI.

**Education, Licenses and Certifications**:
- Degree in engineering or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Six sigma (desirable).
- Advanced English.
- Problem solving tools and problem solving analysis.
