Under direct supervision, he/she is responsible for leading different types of internal and external audits in various administrative areas to meet the Quality Standards for the Quality System. Handles corrective/preventive actions originating from internal audits and supervises proper changes to the Quality Manual. Reviews the results from Quality Meetings regarding the audits and changes to the Quality Manual according to corporate guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES In charge of developing and maintaining the internal QMS.Review of the ISO 9001 elements.Review of the Department Manual.Schedule & Perform internal Audits.Conduct functional audits on the Quality System of the division.In charge of the calibration department.Coordinate corrective actions and preventive actions and update the tracker system.Review corrective and preventive actions.Close completed or resolved corrective and preventive actions.Write and/or assist in writing corrective actions to identify nonconformities.Verify the effectiveness of implemented actions.Prepare reports on the status of corrective/preventive actions.Provide education on audit techniques to associates.Plan and conduct training sessions on audit techniques.Define and establish the purpose and scope of the audit program.Program audits and assign them to internal auditors.In charge of Document Control of the Facility.Coordinate the external Quality Audit process.Prepare Management Reports.Report issues on the progress of the internal audit Quality Program.Develop strategies for corrective and preventive actions.QUALIFICATIONS Required Experience 3 years of experience in the position.Experience conducting Internal & External ISO 9001 Audits.Successful implementation of ISO 9001.Experience with the 8-D tool.Skills Required Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Demonstrating ethics and integrity.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.Analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS Walk the floor.
