Quality & Shipping Inspector Located In Tepeji Del

**Description**

Quality and Shipping Inspector (Q&SI) will be responsible for the Quality inspection of every unit produced and shipped to customers from the Arteche factory in Mexico so that it will be in accordance with Hitachi Energy standards. Q&SI will also perform periodic quality audits and will act as Hitachi Energy representative to address quality issues that may arise.

**Your responsibilities**- Make sure that every Instrument transformer produced fulfills Hitachi Energy standards. In particular:Check Lab Test Report values to be within specifications.
-Check presence of approval label on the unit.
-Check general cleanliness of the product and absence of damages or scratches on enclosure, insulator, secondary terminal box, primary terminals, etc.
-Check completeness of delivery: operating manual hard copy.
-Check that packing is according to drawing, presents required markings.
-Check correctness of shipping documentation.
-Check that truck loading operations for shipping are carried out without damaging the transformers.
-Take a complete set of pictures of the unit before and after packing and after loading for shipping.
-Store all documents & pictures in Data Base repository.

**Your background**- Electrical Engineer preferable, with 5 years of experience in inspecting or testing electrical products in a manufacturing environment must already have a work authorization that would permit him/her to work for Hitachi Energy in Mexico.-
- Recent exposure to quality control during heavy machinery or equipment manufacturing.-
- Experience use of measuring equipment and reading manufacturing drawings-
- Familiarity with ISO-9001 standards is required.-
- Experience working with transformer systems and/or related technologies.-
- Good knowledge and/or experience working with FMEA (Failure Modes & Effects Analysis), Control Plans, Standardized Work, Root Cause Analysis and Quality control in a manufacturing environment would be a plus.-
- Good MS-Office software tools knowledge (Excel & PowerPoint, especially).-
- Excellent communication skills.-
- Fluent English language (verbal and written) at business level is a must.-
- Problem-solving, result-oriented, action-oriented and ownership attitude, with self-driven personality.**Basic Info**
