Leads the team in the manufacture/test process and final inspection of production operations to ensure the integrity of products produced.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensures quality inspection team follows test plans and procedures on a consistent basis. Communicates to Engineering and Manufacturing teams of any unusual or concerning results discovered by the Quality Inspectors. Works with engineering and manufacturing in assessment and resolution. Identifies test/inspection improvements and works with engineering and manufacturing teams on implementation. Keep test documentation up to date with process changes and new product introduction. Completes system and process audits and performs NDT using methods to examine material or systems without impairing its future effectiveness. Experienced in the interpretation of complex engineering drawings, schematics and process plans.
