**Quality Specialist (NC area & Incoming)**:

The Quality Specialist has the role of deploying and facilitating the quality culture in Electrification Smart Power business area, ensuring and controlling quality to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations, and representing the customer's voice within local teams, providing customer experience feedback and input. In this role you will provide assistance with and maintain the quality management system, managing all aspects in line with guidance from ABB Electrification Smart Power.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Qualify vendors, manage rejects from plant to supplier, perform yearly audits, provide help for big quality issues, manage PPAP for suppliers, execute FAI process.
- Help sourcing during scouting of new vendors from a technical assessment standpoint. Help for Qwins supplier integration program.
- Deploy and support a Quality Culture within local ABB, by assuring and controlling Quality with systems, tools, and teams to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations.
- Supports and maintains the Quality Management System of the local unit. All aspects managed in line with ABB Group/Division/BU guidance.
- Provides quality training to local teams enabling them to define and document processes that are efficient and under control.
**Your background**:
- Bachelor´s degree in Industrial, Mechatronic, Mechanical, Electrical or similar Engineering.
- 1-2 years of experience in similar positions.
- Experience in quality (preference on Supplier) or Continuous Improvement leadership in multi-level organization.
- Business English.
- Strong oral and written communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Leadership and strong interpersonal skills.
- Problem solving skills.
