The Quality Systems Engineer is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with international standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100D. This role ensures that all quality processes and documentation are compliant with regulatory and customer requirements and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:Maintain the Quality System (International Standards): Define and execute action plans to implement and maintain the quality system under ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100D standards.Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant standards and regulations.Internal/External Audits: Develop and maintain an internal audit program for the Quality Management System to assess implementation and compliance with international standards.Continuously improve internal/external audit procedures, including formats and processes.Communicate and coordinate training needs for internal auditors to ensure audit effectiveness.Controlled Documentation: Establish and manage a documentation control system, ensuring proper control of records related to Quality and Environmental systems.Oversee the creation of visual aids for final inspection (AOP) and standardize formats for procedures, operating instructions, inspections, and forms.Develop, document, and enhance procedures, instructions, manuals, formats, and databases related to Document Control, Record Control, and Visual Aids Creation.Provide necessary training and coaching to personnel to ensure proper understanding and use of document control and record-keeping processes.Core Tools: Ensure compliance with core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) in all assigned projects.Follow up on the implementation and effectiveness of procedures based on core tools.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.3-5 years of experience in Quality Systems Management or Engineering in a manufacturing environment.In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100D standards.Proven experience with quality audits, documentation control, and quality management systems.Familiarity with Core Tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide training and guidance to teams.Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software systems.
