Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Quality System Technician.
What you'll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
A. Monitor, control and lead Document Management System and Layer Process Audits for the company and manufacturing extensions.B. Monitor, control and lead Reverse PFMEA audits, Product audits, corrective actions effectiveness for the company and manufacturing extensions.C. Support activities linked to improve and implement quality system according to ISO/IATF 16949 and EQMS for the company and manufacturing extensions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Support Internal/external audits, Special process, Customer audits, OpA self-assessment,
Follow up corrective actions and opportunities as a result of them into the company Campus SLP (program audits)
B. Support in Document Management System procedures and work instructions for the company Campus SLP
C. Lead, monitor and coordinate Layer Process Audit including audits completed on time, mitigation closed on time and approved mitigation for the company and manufacturing Extensions, the training of layer process auditors and Improvement activities into Layer Process Audit system.
D. Lead, monitor and coordinate opportunities for improvement as result of internal/external audits.
E. Lead, monitor and coordinate the training of EQMS on boarding
F. Lead, monitor and coordinate quality campaigns, FLL and quality month activities
D. Implements, promotes and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of accidents prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area.
E. Promotes the company's mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton's ethics and values as well as quality policies.
F.
Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.
Qualifications:
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE.
A. Technician Level or related fields required. Engineering bachelor's degree in process
B. 1 year experience in similar area.
C. IATF 16949/ISO 9001 criteria, EQMS criteria
D. Problem solving methodology (8Ds)
E. Proficiency in problem solving & quality techniques including:o SPCo PFMEAo PPAPo APQPo MSAo Problem Solving
F. Knowledge in quality system and broad Knowledge in related quality system documentation.
