.Job Overview:The QMS Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure that it complies with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. The role involves coordinating internal and external audits, managing documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance processes and be skilled in developing, implementing, and improving QMS procedures.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant standards.Coordinate internal and external audits, including scheduling, preparation, and corrective action follow-up.Monitor compliance with quality policies and procedures to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.Maintain and update QMS documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and records.Support process owners in developing and documenting quality-related processes and procedures.Assist in the identification of quality improvement opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.Act as a liaison between the company and third-party auditors or certifying bodies.Train employees on quality policies, procedures, and standards, and ensure understanding across the organization.Collect, analyze, and report on quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.Lead or support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address non-conformances and ensure continuous improvement.Ensure that customer requirements are understood and met throughout the product or service lifecycle.Maintain records of quality activities and provide timely reporting on quality performance.Conduct risk assessments related to the quality management system and recommend mitigating actions.Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality management systems, preferably in manufacturing or automotive industries.Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant QMS standards.Experience in audit coordination (internal/external), and familiarity with certification processes.Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and CAPA.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.Proficient in Microsoft Office and QMS software.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interfacing with auditors, managers, and other stakeholders.Preferred Skills:Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) credentials
