Job Overview:
- Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant standards.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, including scheduling, preparation, and corrective action follow-up.
- Monitor compliance with quality policies and procedures to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and update QMS documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and records.
- Support process owners in developing and documenting quality-related processes and procedures.
- Assist in the identification of quality improvement opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
- Act as a liaison between the company and third-party auditors or certifying bodies.
- Train employees on quality policies, procedures, and standards, and ensure understanding across the organization.
- Collect, analyze, and report on quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Lead or support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address non-conformances and ensure continuous improvement.
- Ensure that customer requirements are understood and met throughout the product or service lifecycle.
- Maintain records of quality activities and provide timely reporting on quality performance.
- Conduct risk assessments related to the quality management system and recommend mitigating actions.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements.
- Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality management systems, preferably in manufacturing or automotive industries.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant QMS standards.
- Experience in audit coordination (internal/external), and familiarity with certification processes.
- Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and CAPA.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and QMS software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interfacing with auditors, managers, and other stakeholders.
- Preferred Skills:
Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) credentials.
- Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in the automotive or aerospace industries is a plus.
