- Ensures that processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained. This position will report directly to the Quality Manager, on the performance of the quality management system and any need for improvement and ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization. In addition, the management representative will act as liaison with a 3rd party auditor to convey the auditor's interpretation on the International Standards Organization (ISO) standard to top management and schedule audits for certification to the ISO 9001 Standard.
- Coordinate the implementation of Business Operative System (BOS) in the unit. Assure the attendance and participation in meetings related to BOS to complete the deployment of this strategy in the unit.
- Coordinate to the Business Operative Process (BOP´s) Unit Process Owners to assure the review and acceptance of every BOP, using the documentation (PPT) and platform (MURAL) provided.
- Establishes, documents, and maintains an Internal Audit process to support and verify the International Standards Organization (ISO) standard and the quality requirements established by the unit or division. This includes assessing the effectiveness of the quality management system and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- As a Quality Systems Engineer needs to update all the suggested changes in standardized documents, such as Check List and Self-controls, in the applicable platform (FIA).
- Establishes and maintains a Quality Manual that includes the scope of the quality management system, details of and justification for any exclusions to the International Standards Organization (ISO) standard, the documented procedures required by ISO 9001 Standard and those established for an effective quality management system or reference to them, and a description of the interaction between the processes of the quality management system.
- Maintains an Internal Audit team, including training of employees selected by management to be on the internal audit team, and ensuring that audits maintain objectivity and impartiality.
- Manages the follow-up on non-conformances and opportunities for improvements identified in Internal audits (NCCA Management). Tracks and verifies that corrective and preventive actions are effective and implemented within the expected time frame.
- Establishes and maintains a Quality Policy. Includes communicating it to the unit or division and making sure it is understood within the unit or division and reviewing it for continuing suitability.
- Schedules, facilitates and records minutes of Management Reviews related to the quality management system.
