As a QUALITY TEAM LEAD you will, ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating and managing laboratory resources to guarantee the release of materials within specification, on time and according to customer requirements.
You will report to the Liquid Paint Quality Coordinator.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform LPA audits on time.
- Coordinate work plans and strategies to update our quality system, through the development, updating and implementation of test methods and procedures.
- Coordinate the use of procedures such as defective production reporting and abnormality reporting to define opportunities for improvement by identifying material problems and assisting in identifying root cause.
- Focus group activities on improvement to minimize quality indicators such as: returns, adjustments/batch of defective productions, interacting with process, production and technical laboratory areas.
- Schedule, direct, monitor, and supervise the continuous flow of materials.
- Control and enforce good laboratory practices and safety standards.
- Elaborate and follow up on inspections sent to the customer, and timely closure of rejects to ensure correction.
- Have active participation in root cause investigations attributable to the quality area.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
- Advanced English
- Core Tools
- +3 years of experience in testing methods to evaluate automotive, industrial and packaging coatings.
- Knowledge of ISO/TS16949 standard.
- Personnel management.
