During your internship, you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will ensure you have a valuable learning experience. You can expect to receive coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset.You will also have the opportunity to become familiar with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) culture of Baker Hughes, as well as our strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.The duration is from 6 months to 12 months, starting January 2025 through July or December 2025As an intern, you will be responsible for:Conducting inspections and quality checks on products, materials, and equipment to ensure they meet industry standards and company specifications.Performing various tests and analyses on components, materials, and products to verify their integrity, functionality, and safety.Accurately documenting inspection and test results, including any non-conformities or defects, and reporting findings to the quality team.Assisting in investigating and identifying the root causes of quality issues or defects and working on corrective and preventive actions.Participating in quality assurance activities, including process audits, to ensure that quality control measures are being followed consistently.Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's level degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or another STEM-related program.Have maintained a GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country.Be fluent in oral and written English and have effective communication skills.Be able to relocate for the duration of your internship (locations vary).Be legally entitled to work within the country in which you are applying without sponsorship or time restrictions.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.
