Quality Welding Engineer

**Key Functions**:- Support in the resolution of quality problems in production processes- Determine the specifications for the welding procedure WPS Welding Procedure Specification- Determine the qualification of the welding procedure PQR Procedure Qualification Record- Qualifications of personnel skills for welding WPQ Welding Performance Qualification Record- Participate in staff training with the aim of transmitting the need for quality in the organization- Metallographic inspection for analysis of the microstructural characteristics of metal or alloys- Metallographic inspection for certification of welding machines to analyze deph and ensure process control- Participate in the analysis and solution of problems in other areas in the approach of risk reduction an appropriate analysis- Actively participate in daily accountability meetings according to the assigned business area- Prepare and analyze process capability studies- Manage quality assurance on the floor within the quality system- Prepare capacity studies and analyze process studies**Qualifications**:- Metallurgical Chemical Engineer or related- 5 years minimum of experience in electrical welding process (automotive desirable)- IATF 16949 audits- GM requirements- Core tools- BIQs- VDA 6.3- CQI-15- Auditories 1st, 2nd and 3rd part- ERP (Plex is a plus)Intermediate-Advance English
