If you are a passionate, committed Application Technologies Engineer – Lab Tech based in Toluca who wants to make a difference in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Your Main Responsibilities will be: Ensure formulations and raw materials meet the performance required by customers and comply with product safety requirements (PSR). Deliver standard samples and specifications of new products. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment. Formulate, adapt, analyze, evaluate, and implement raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products in accordance with internal or customer requirements. Follow up on requests, conduct tests on laboratory equipment, interpret results, and generate reports to inform about the conclusions obtained. Adapt technology from other Siegwerk sites for local use and/or manufacturing. Optimize the portfolio of raw materials and semi-finished products. Request stationery and supplies. Direct and coordinate internal meetings with local collaborators or from other Siegwerk sites globally, as well as with suppliers of raw materials and laboratory equipment. Optimize the raw materials portfolio together with Procurement and Purchasing. Implement new products in conjunction with AT and SCM. Implement and monitor new raw materials. Drive continuous improvement processes through the implementation of rapid improvements and 8-step projects. To be successful in the position you will require: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. More than 1 year of experience in the painting, graphic arts industries, or related fields, with knowledge of analytical equipment and good lab practices. Fluent in English. #J-18808-Ljbffr
