Other duties may be assigned.- Receiving clients' drawings and documents to understand requirements and specifications.- Coordinate with team to create the assemblies BOM structure, tooling and labor requirements.- Source raw the materials required, specifically looking for best overall price and lead times- Research alternative solution for unavailable, high MOQ or other problematic materials- Define material pack to best fit customer requirements, for example: loose vs reel- Keep records of quotes provided by vendors- Input best material option into costing workbook- Calculate excess material, transportation, tariff, scrap and other loaded costs- Keep update to status of all ongoing opportunities- Create detailed customer response sheets- Report win/loss information- Coordinate with other departments such as document control, purchasing, program management, engineering, NPI and Quality as part of launch to validate system matches quote. Including updating vendor contract pricing and margin verification.- To provide a central point of contact to engage with supporting departments/suppliers as necessary- To create quotes at agreed margins- Dealing with our in-house system to send reports and statistics- Ensure work is delivered to agreed service level- Obtain and maintain current information on vendors ongoing pricing structures- Administer orders with special instructions and documentation requirements- Expedite project orders and prepare required client reports- Communicate with all departments involved in completing quotations- Perform other related duties as requested by supervisor or manager.**QUALIFICATIONS** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to create business cases based on analysis.
