**R&D Engineer**:

As a R&D Engineer, you will help steer the direction of strategic corporate technology by focusing on solving industrial problems through reliable research work. Working as a researcher in R&D projects, you will solve applied research and technology problems and develop ways to more effectively solve them. In this role, you will communicate your results in reports and other publications, while following and contributing to scientific discussions in your area.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Contributing ideas and a scientific way of working to R&D projects and proposing follow-up projects and activities based on new ideas.
- Develop blueprints and technical drawings using NX software.
- Work on 3D models and drafting's for shop floor.
- Modify and maintain technical information for the electric motor line.
- Able to propose technical solutions to design problems.
- Understanding what creates customer value and working to improve operations and increase customer satisfaction.
- Participate in projects with multidisciplinary groups so that the design can be implemented.
**Your background**:
- Bachelor´s Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering or similar.
- 1-3 years of experience working in similar position.
- Knowledge in ERP SAP and Microsoft Office.
- Intermediate/advanced 3D design (NX, SolidWorks).
- Knowledge and interpretation of NEMA standards.
- Problem solver, adaptability, creativity, non-frustrated, flexible, analytical, team player.
- Knowledge and experience in problem solving (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
- Green Belt and/or Black Belt certification is a plus.
- Fluent English and Spanish.
