**Objective**Based in our core know-how (metallurgy, manufacturing process and innovation), this position is used not only to develop these abilities in young talent, but also as a platform for key positions within Nemak. For instance, highly technical skills such as materials, castings and joining for process and product engineering. Also, for critical positions like Program Manager (Innovation Management, provides basic project management skills that could facilitate the transition to administrative careers. The role of this internship is to support either the execution or management of the R&D projects.**Main Responsibilities**- Execute specific activities for R&D projects (materials characterization, failure analysis, and reports elaboration)- Manage R&D projects (support in R&D metrics management, NRDS handbook and technology roadmaps updates and internal communication with project stakeholders- Interactions with global R&D team (coordination for the execution / management of projects)**Position Requirements**- Education: Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Innovation ans Product Development Engineering- Skills: Networking, Creativity, Resilience, Results Oriented- Availability for lab work at least 4 days a week- English Advanced- At Nemak, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (D&I) play a fundamental role in everything we do and are the underlying platform on which our culture is built.
