DescriptionContribute with product development of interior cabin products (as displays, HUD, FPC) from feasibility point of view of different manufacturing process (as injection molding, die cast, sheet metal, etc).Responsable to review and approve mechanical designs to comply with requirements of such manufacturing process, including proposal of improvements to efficiency or product performance.
**Qualifications**:- Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or similar.- Experience in automotive industry (at least 6 years).- Experience in injection molding process (at least 4 years).- Experience in die cast process and sheet metal process (desirable).- Experience on plastic injection tooling design and / or maintenance (at least 4 years).- Usage of injection simulation software (as CADMould, Moldflow, Magma, etc).- Knowledge of plastic materials mechanical performance and its characteristics.- Basic knowledge of material used on die cast and injection plastic tooling manufacturing.- Basic knowedlge of Design of Experiments (DoE) methodology.- Root cause analysis and problem solving methodologies.- Knowledge of PLC for mechanical components.- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Continental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods.
