Job Description: The Dry and C&T Process Manager is the primary R&D interface with both global technology experts as well as the site teams, in all process and technical matters. He/she ensures that all projects are implemented flawlessly across the regional Dry and C&T factory network by ensuring an effective working relationship between the technology team and other involved teams, delivering full business solutions from a process perspective.
The role is accountable to drive harmonization and simplicity of our process operations, both from a design perspective (defining the required technology needed for all new Dry and C&T factories) as well as how the process capabilities are demonstrated by commissioning and hand-over protocols.
What are we looking for?Bachelor's degree in engineering (Food, chemical, mechanical or similar).Advanced English required.At least 5 years' experience in Food Manufacturing factories, preferably in process areas.Strong understanding of scientific methods.Quality mindset, with understanding of manufacturing processes.Product, packaging, and process design.Design for quality and efficiency.Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in engineering/quality.Supply/Commercial/Product Development experience or managing Quality/supply as a stakeholder.What will be your key responsibilities?Lead and deliver Technology Development/Implementation of Dry and C&T innovation, Do It Best, QES and growth of capacity expansion initiatives in Mexico, to: Contribute to the generation and implementation of global best practices related to dry and C&T manufacturing (from raw materials inbound up to silos).Support the R&D teams to sustain our business continuity and continuous improvement by providing technical expertise.Continuous improvement projects, ensuring product performance targets are met, leveraging global process best practices and assuring stable process capability at the most competitive cost structure.Lead the process development team to deliver Dry and C&T process capabilities for new products and/or raw materials, assuring their scale-up to the dry and C&T factory network, as well as the delivery of the full business solution to the unit (factory hand-over, commissioning requirements, and SRC).Fundamental understanding of process constraints together with the recipe formulators, mapping the recipe optimization bottlenecks in our factories and proposing the assets upgrade when appropriate.Translation and deployment of new Dry and C&T product technologies designed and developed in the AOE teams.Contribute to the Innovation Pipeline product codification, together with Marketing and PDI roles, by bringing the technological perspective and the impacts to current business model and factories capabilities.What can you expect from Mars?Work with over 140,000 diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.Join a purpose-driven company, where we're striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.Best-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.Mars is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
