DescriptionSystems Engineer is a key member of a multi-disciplinary team involved in the design and development of state-of-the-art Passive Safety systems. This includes a variety of activities which are integral towards ensuring our safety critical systems are developed according to industry best practices and leading-edge methodologies.Main responsibilities:- Work with customers in understanding the stakeholder request and adapting the architecture related to assigned features- Develop, adapt, and maintain system requirements for Passive Safety systems- Allocate the requirements to system architecture elements- Communicate and align system requirements and architecture with multi-disciplinary teams in a global setup- Create and update Requirements MetricsAdditional responsibilities:- Frequent communication and coordination with development teams- Investigate problems and find solutions jointly with the engineering team**Qualifications**:Required qualifications- Bachelor's degree in mechatronics, electronics, computer engineering or related discipline- Fluent in English- Good Planning and Coordination Skills; - Excellent verbal/written communications skillsPreferred qualifications- Knowledge of Requirements Engineering, preferably in automotive area- Knowledge of Functional Safety and Cybersecurity- Knowledge of SysML/UMLContinental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods.
