Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of Research and Development (R&D) employees and support them in achieving the agreed R&D targets. Each day, you will coach and develop the team. You will also showcase your expertise by helping in managing technologies, platforms, and Intellectual Property.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in San Luis Potosi.
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Serving as a technical resource for the team and providing technical support for internal and external contacts.
• Act as technical lead for 11 engineers at 2 sites (SLP and MTY)
• Conduct local PDAs, hiring, for SLP and MTY team
• Act as technical lead of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) moving to global PLM
• Responsible of enhancements of product according to Cost reduction, Sustainable materials and Better ways to produce.
• Planning and ensuring an appropriate project portfolio for the team.
Qualifications for the role Bachelor degree at engineering areas; mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, mechatronic. 8+ years of experience done on Research & Development, Technology, Product, Design, Application Engineering areas. Experience on new products development, re-design, improvement of existing and/or customized products and manage PLM Systems 2 years of Team leadership experience Knowledge of power electrical equipment MCC and/or switchgear or combination & knowledge and understanding of UL, ANSI, and IEEE standards.
