.Job PurposeIn addition to the inspection, testing and qualification, repair and maintenance of field tools, the R&M Specialist role performs preventive & corrective maintenance, retrofit and upgrade to electronic, mechanic, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, data acquisition systems, downhole tools & communication equipment. The role performs these tasks using Company guidelines, technical work instructions, test procedures, schematics, engineering notices, and best practices to complete the scope of functions where required under the direction and supervision of a senior R&M Specialist, Lead Specialist or Supervisor. As the senior R&M Specialist, the employee will lead and oversee these tasks carried out by other R&M employees. While this is a generic job description covering the different levels of the R&M Specialist position, all aspects of the roles and responsibilities are relevant.
