(Objective)**Plans, organizes, directs, and controls all the production activities to ensure that the finished goods produced meet volume, quality and cost requirements within the established time in an efficient way.
**What will you do?
(Responsibilities)**- Direct responsible for the Production Program and for the levels of efficiency, regarding the requirements established by Quality as well as control of scrap.- Supervise the preparation of production reports and completion dates.- Supervise and evaluate procedures designed to improve production methods,- equipment use and quality of finished goods.- Formulate, negotiate and manages the department's objectives and budgets, as well as the strategies and action plans to achieve those objectives.- Able to verify and approve standard operating procedures (SOP) of the production activities.- Responsible of select, train, motivate and develop the manufacturing associates, as well as acting as a facilitator.- Responsible of promote and maintain interdepartmental harmony.- Responsible of attend internal and external audits (such as ISO 9000 and ISO 13485) referent to his area.- Applies management principles, assuring that 4 I's and Code of Ethics and Conduct are observed and followed by his/her team.- Perform evaluations and promote discipline among the team.- Participate in the training needs identification to his/her team.- Develop charts to track customers demand and headcount forecast.
**How will you get here?
**Bachelor degree required.
Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment, molding area is a plus.Basic English levelStrong leadership skills.Knowledge of Supply Chain Management (MRP, kanban, plan-ning).Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and PPI Tools.At Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 70,000 extraordinary minds has a unique story to tell.
