We create clothing that is great for the people who wear them and the people who make them, by joining forces with indigenous communities and incorporating their high-quality designs on awesome products that match their travel lifestyle.We are looking for a Raw Material Sourcing & Product Development Manager to lead the development of new fashion products, through a cross-functional process: design concept, exploration and /or development of innovative materials in collaboration with local and foreign suppliers that comply with the organization's sustainability guidelines, tech pack development, sampling, quality assurance, costing, gross margin management, and factory visits to ensure the finished designs meet the technical requirements to undergo manufacturing at scale.

**What You Will Do**- Lead the raw material sourcing & product development process- Raw material sourcing strategy- Build out and manage a strong raw material supplier network within and outside- Fabric and product development- Sample making / tech pack development- Costing- Manage gross margin targets and improve each season- Budget management- Create speed to market initiatives (from product inception to delivery within 2-3 months)- Time & action calendar management- Quality assurance, control, and compliance during the sampling process- Development and measurement of KPI's for the area and all respective products- Partner with cross functional teams from product design concepts to commercialization of product- Drive innovative processes and procedures for higher quality product, improved gross margin, and increased artisan technique integration- Guide the team in the overall direction and methodology behind the work and ensure it meets our brand standards and guidelines**Who You Are**- Experience in the entire têxtile process, experience in material recovery or recycling processes- Strong raw material supplier and material manufacturers network within and outside of Mexico- Knowledge of the clothing industry inside and outside of Mexico, knowledge of fashion and industry trends- Experience in fashion product development from design concept to commercialization of product- Bachelor's degree in raw material sourcing, product development (including patterns and silhouette making), production, fashion management, manufacturing preferred.- 5-8 years of related experience- Specific Knowledge: Project Management Software, Advanced Excel.- Ability to integrate best practices, processes, and structure from extensive experience within the raw material sourcing and product development space
