**About the role**:
**Key responsibilities**:
- Responsible for product development from initiation to launch. Confers with process engineers, flavor experts, sales staff, suppliers, customers, food safety, regulations and packaging and marketing specialists to resolve problems.
- Responsible for coordinate and/or developing methods for analysis, including sensory panels. Applies science for experimental design.
- Conducts basic research for the improvement of existing products and the development of new products, outlining procedures and specifications.
- Ensures appropriate documentation of experimental trials and outcomes to facilitate scale up and product transfer to manufacturing.
- Develop products aligned with the design in terms of quality and food safety.
- Complies with that good laboratory practices and lab protocols. Documents all research notes in computer databases.
**Qualifications and skills**:
- BS in Food Technology / Science / Engineering or similar.
- +3 years work experience in seasoning / flavors; meat processing & technology knowledge is an advantage.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills through different levels in the organization.
- Work well in an ambiguous setting, self-motivated, proactive, work with mínimal direction, with cross-functional teams.
- Team player, report results in a conscience manner.
- Problem solver, solution seeker, independently identify experimental work necessary to achieve project objectives.
- Language: intermediate English.
