Summary
Global Services Mexico is looking for a Real Estate Project Manager for Real Estate and
Facilities area in the Sites in Mexico; position is to report to the Head of GS Mexico.
As our Senior Real Estate Manager in Global Services Real Estate, you will be responsible
to drive footprint projects (including building projects) in Mexico (expansions, consolidation,
closures), in line with Danfoss's strategy.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Drive footprint projects (including building projects) in Mexico (expansions,
consolidation, closures), in line with Danfoss's strategy; overseeing the planning,
execution and delivery of various projects that align with our strategic Global Services
Real Estate objectives.
- Drive the resources related to the project to achieve project targets of quality, cost,
and time schedule.
- Excel on project execution, contingency plans activation, ensuring project success.
- Report the project performance and status to project steering committee &
management team about Project quality, time, and cost control.
- Build and maintain strong relationship / interactions with our Global Real Estate Team
members and Real Estate Colleagues in other regions.
- Build and maintain strong relationship / interactions with the Americas Center of
Excellence, offering expert services to the regions in relations to energy efficiency,
One FM, technical expertise (HVAC), lease and contract management.
- Be a dedicated and passionate business partner between the GS Real Estate
organization towards the business, ensuring adding value towards our stakeholders as
an organization.
- Effective stakeholder management, maintaining positive relationships with regional
and plant leadership.
- Ambassador of Danfoss and GS Real Estate business model with a strong serviceminded approach
- Support Danfoss Global Strategies / Programs (ESG, Office of the Future, Branding,
OneFM, PlanOn, GetXX Savings, etc.).
Background & Skills
- Engineering background, civil, Mechanical or Electrical major, Bachelor degree or
above
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships
at all levels.
- With 10 year+ project management experience related to new building construction
projects and Facility management
- A set of technical skills (HVAC, Civil, Electric etc) and qualification/experience on how
to design and implement a future Facility Management operational set up
- Experience leading and managing a team preferred.
- Experience working in a country/regional matrixed or otherwise complex environment.
- Fluent English
