Receiving Supervisor

Descripción y detalle de las actividadesOversee all Receiving operational activities for the Mexicali Plant and Satellite Operations. This person will ensure the accuracy of received inventory, stocking team, work with operations, buyer/planners, inventory team, suppliers to ensure appropriate material sizing. - Supervise staff working in Receiving area - Avoid unsafe acts are performed by staff and visitors in the assigned work area. - Fluent of the department's process in order to ensure adherence, provide answers to employees and outside inquires. - Partner with Assistant Manager and other Supervisors to ensure building awareness of business processes/ changes. - Develop rapport quickly and maintain good customer relationships both internally and externally by coordinating with all departments involved in the process. - Provide support to internal and external customers including all divisions of our multi-channel business and suppliers. - Execute the strategy and direction of the Department. - Ensure that all support tasks for the department are completed in a timely manner. - Manage employee performance while developing and inspiring the team. -Ensure that activities in department comply with GMP's.Experiência y requisitosAt least 2 years Supervisory experience Picking / Supply & Logistics in high volume Warehouse Operations. At least 5 years Lead experience high volume picking. Experience working with MMS in AS400, JDE and SAP MRP /ERP Systems.
