Job DescriptionAs a Receptionist, you will be responsible for operating telephone business systems equipment or switchboards to relay incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls. You will be responsible for supplying information to callers and recording messages. This role requires strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate telephone business systems equipment or switchboards to relay incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls.Supply information to callers and record messages accurately and promptly.Prioritize and manage multiple phone lines, calmly handling high call volume and transferring calls as needed.Direct callers and visitors to the appropriate department or employee.Assist with administrative tasks, including mail and package handling, scheduling appointments, and providing basic office support when necessary.Maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area.Complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.Work ExperienceRequires knowledge and skills gained through formal training or considerable work experience.Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision.Has 2 to 3 years of work experience.EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.Combination of education and experience will be considered.CertificationsCertifications may be required or preferred.
