.Job descriptionIf you're looking for a career where you can make a real impression, join our Global Service Center (GSC)- HSBC and discover how valued you'll be.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of**Recovery and Resolution Planning Manager****Role purpose**:As an Assistant Manager of Recovery and Resolution Planning, you will report to the Americas Head of Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) in Global Treasury.
The team is responsible for Recovery & Resolution Planning within the Americas region including the United States, and Latin America.
The role will have a focus on Resolution Planning with opportunities for involvement in Recovery planning.
The role will include delivery of US Resolution Planning requirements for the FRB and FDIC (SIFI Resolution Plan and IDI Resolution Plan), and meeting requirements for the Bank of England on the Resolvability Assessment Framework ("RAF").
The role will also support Recovery Planning at a local level within the Region and through input to the Group Recovery Plan (GRP).
**Main activities**:- Assisting in submitting local resolution plans to local regulators as required (timing varies depending on local regulatory requirements) and support the group in the submission of the Resolvability Assessment Framework (RAF) self-assessment.- Assist as required in Recovery Planning both for local regulators and to the Group RRP Office for submissions to the PRA.- Assist in coordinating and supporting senior management in the bank's response to any potential recovery or resolution event.- Identification of risks and implement mitigation approaches at the earliest opportunity.- Lead the identification of local fire-drill requirements and training identification on RRP to ensure Recovery and Resolution understanding and readiness across all levels within the organization.Requirements**Qualifications**- A risk, finance, legal or banking business background.- Strong analytical skills with financial and balance sheet management experience.- Exceptional drive, motivation and commitment and focus in operational excellence.- Understanding of HSBC Group structures, values, behaviours, processes and objectives.- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with proven ability to handle multiple outputs at the simultaneously.- Personable and able to get along with all stakeholders with strong soft skills capabilities in delivering complex messages clearly.- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with proven experience of communicating effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group in a complex global environment.- Experience with engaging and communicating to Regulators.- Ability to work under pressure and deal with, or refer on, problems as they arise.
