.**Full Line Services, Operations Manager, Mexico****About the job**RHI Magnesita is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager who is responsible for all aspects of the refractory service domain in the long term for Full Line Service accounts across Mexico. This includes ensuring monthly reporting to the customer is completed, creating and maintaining lean processes in how hourly employees perform their roles, providing mentorship and guidance to all full line services leads and personnel.**The Operations Manager tasks will include**:- Daily communication with Senior Leadership and internal customers.- Work to achieve incremental changes in business processes, on a regular basis, to result in higher efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.- Carry the long-term business vision forward, articulate the vision, passionately own the vision, and relentlessly drive it to completion- Develop, mentor, and provide guidance to blue collar site leads. Play a key role in fostering and maintaining a team environment that is built on trust, respect, and performance.- Creating synergy among team members- Assist in troubleshooting, maintaining, servicing, and operating on-site refractory equipment.- Identify and support all training and development needs- Held accountable for supply and ensuring all site staff are wearing the correct PPE and that all customer safety requirements are being met.- Responsible for ensuring all visiting personnel adhere to the customer safety requirements.- Responsible for SOP's, and regular monitoring of the work area to ensure all potential hazards are addressed.- Daily interaction with the appropriate division manager of the steel plant.- Weekly meeting with the aggregate managers of the steel plant.- Responsible for hourly installation personnel.- Responsible for interviewing and participating in the selection of new or replacement hires.- Develop and educate all employees**About you**- Minimum 8 years of experience in refractory industry- 4 plus years' experience in Leadership role- Required to travel within Mexico, which could be as much as 50% of work time. Travel will be between Monclova and Monterrey.- Must be able to perform inspections on construction sites- Self-driven, Hands on, forward thinking, and improvement/results oriented- Works effectively and collaboratively, including clear written and verbal communications- Proficiency with MS Office Suite of products, specifically Microsoft Teams, MS Outlook, Excel, and Word**What we bring to the table**We are the acknowledged industry leader in innovative technology.
