As one of our five cornerstones, this means that we go all-out to create an environment that shows we are committed to investing in employee growth and creating a culture of belonging where employees want to build a lasting career.Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Daily Readings for the ammonia, and in some cases boiler, and air systems.Complete assigned PM's in a timely manner.Periodic use and maintenance of fitted full face respirator.Assist Ammonia Technician's with periodic projects.Regular attendance and punctuality are required due to working within a small department, as people, items, and equipment at our facilities depend on us.All other duties as assigned.Job Specifications:Mechanical experience preferred.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Required to be able to pass and maintain annual medical and pulmonary fit tests for respirator use.English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.The Refrigeration Tech 1 should be in training for at least one year before becoming eligible to progress to a Refrigeration Tech 2.Working Conditions:Refrigerated food manufacturing plants.Use of technology such as computers, mobile devices etc. preferred.The environment may be wet or dry and temperatures may range from -20°F to 110°F.Repetitive pushing, pulling, kneeling, bending and lifting of objects in excess of 80 lbs.Requires walking or standing for long periods of time, ascending and descending stairs and ladders.Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend, and holiday scheduling.Recipe for Success: Reser's is the leading provider of fresh refrigerated deli salads, side dishes, and prepared foods for the supermarket, club store, and food service industries.
