.As Chubb's Head of Solution Design and Engineering, LatAm Consumer Lines. you will hold a highly visible and critical executive leadership role within our team. We will look to you to develop and drive the execution of both our business technology strategy and future state application roadmap in alignment with business goals and drivers. You will be tasked with implementing a digitally enabled business focused on automation and driving a better end-to-end experience for customers, agents and brokers. Finally, as we shift to create an engineering culture focused on industry engineering best practices that enable reliable, performant and scalable strategic solutions, we will look to you to ensure that our technology team continues striving to be closely aligned and embedded with the business, collaborating across the organization to leverage Agile methodologies as they deliver high-value business capabilities and transform existing applications into modern platforms.Responsibilities include:Leading the design, development, and deployment of the platforms to support Chubb's digital transformation strategy within the selected portfolioAccountability for managing architecture strategy, design processes and review / approve solution design for the platforms in scopeProviding technical leadership and direction to both product and platform teams, including evaluating new and emerging technologies, and driving innovationSupport scenario analysis and technical evaluation, including technical and financial feasibility of the defined solutions.Developing and managing the technology budget and resources, including internal teams and external vendors, for the selected platform engineering activitiesEnsuring the platforms comply with regulatory requirements and security policiesEngaging with Product Owner, Domain Leads and Product Squads to understand requirements and define scenarios to evaluate which features are going to be built within platforms or product teams, inside existing platforms or with new components.Collaborating with other teams within Chubb to integrate the platforms with other systems and processesCommunicating technical strategy and progress to leadership and other stakeholdersManage selected OKRs and lead improvement initiatives
