The Regional Business Head is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Primarily affects a sub-function. Involved in short
- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Full management responsibility of a team or multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval.

**Responsibilities**:

- The Strategy Senior Manager will report to the Strategy Group Manager and play a key role in developing initiatives and projects throughout the region. The Strategy Senior Manager will be responsible for the following:

- In working with the Regional Head of Strategy and the Senior Management Team, help identify and develop regional projects that could materially improve the effectiveness and performance of the business.
- With team members, develop processes for providing ad hoc information on strategic initiatives, required by management.
- Engage and influence several teams involved in projects that lead to commercial excellence.
- Develop recommendations to advise Citi's senior management on high-priority initiatives, including growth strategy, product and segment strategies, and cross business initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- 10+ years strategic experience preferred.
- Ideally experience working in multiple countries.
- Deep knowledge of the middle market commercial banking space and with the leading drivers of commercial excellence.
- Fundamental understanding of the drivers of value and the financial statements in a commercial bank.
- Outstanding problem structuring and analytic capabilities; ability to take a complex problem and organize it in discrete pieces for solution. Ability to size and prioritize large-scale initiatives across businesses.
- Significant experience working effectively with senior and middle level managers and with large interdisciplinary teams.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
