Scope includes APQP development, PO management and reactive quality escalations for RI design-controlled parts developed in Mexico**JOB RELATED STATISTICS**:- Business Partner Interface level: Design control owners, RI manufacturing facilities- Market Complexity: Moderately Complex- Business Partner Revenue: Around $100M-350M- # of NPI Programs Per Year: 10+- Team Location: Multiple Locations Mostly in Mexico and USA- Personnel: Approx. 10-20**JOB DUTIES**:Major Role: Lead the Mexico team of Supplier Collaboration Engineers (SCE) to manage part number level development in conjunction with suppliers, engineering and procurement category teams to successful deliver NPI, CPI and NSI projects for parts developed in Mexico. This role would work close with the global design control Supplier Collaboration Engineers along with other functional areas like Packaging, Transportation, Business Resources etc.,. This role would not just be responsible for the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Cost management related activities related to get parts developed right the first time, but also manage the quality feedback loops to ensure lessons learnt on quality defects are fed back through the process and lessons applied across part families.This leader would be working closely with the Resource Industries (RI) manufacturing facilities to support them on their footprint and localization needs. They would be the trusted advisor to engineering, categories and product groups on supplier capability at a part family level to implement Product Group strategies in line with Categories sources strategies that will create a competitive advantage for our customers by developing, optimizing, and integrating a world-class supply network.The role will require a good communicator capable of keeping the customer and procurement category teams fully informed of progress and working closely with both to ensure all requirements are met.**TRAVEL**:- Extensive travel will be required
