As a Lead Strategic Sourcing Spec, you will have to drive the global mechanical commodities strategy for Honeywell Process Solutions business. This role will lead, develop, and manage the North America HPS suppliers for plastics, stampings, castings, and machining categories in alignment with Honeywell business expectations, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Plan with emphasis on high growth region sourcing.The primary role of this position is to drive competitive mechanical commodities supply strategies to achieve lowest total cost whilst increasing working capital via supplier negotiation planning and execution, value engineering, sole/single source elimination and supplier rationalization. This role will manage supplier performance and supply risk to ensure supply continuity. This role will manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic global environment and working with global stakeholders. This role will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, export /import regulations.- Deliver productivity, working capital objectives and supplier rationalization targets in alignment with the Center of Excellence (CoE) team- Drive supplier performance to meet quality and delivery objectives- Continuous system improvements and automation to drive process efficiency and simplification- Establish effective supplier relationships- Drive effective collaboration between DMCOE and site sourcing to full execution of sourcing strategies**YOU MUST HAVE**:- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, purchasing or operations or related discipline.
