Our client, a Global automotive industry leader, has requested us to search for an experienced
**Regional Continuous Improvement Manager **to support 5 of their Manufacturing sites in the country, position can be based in San Luis Potosi, SLP or Tultitlan, Edo. Mex.

**DESCRIPTION**
The primary function of the Regional Continuous Improvement Manager is to drive strategic Continuous Improvement Objectives at the operational level while defining and implementing initiatives to ensure the facilities' continued success in the deployment of the Company Business System. The Regional Continuous Improvement Manager also supervises the manufacturing engineering group providing them with the necessary technical direction to develop an environment which fosters Optimization and Continuous Improvement in Manufacturing Systems including but not limited to Safety, Productivity, Product & Process Quality, and Cost Out. The Regional Continuous Improvement Manager assures also that new Launch programs follow standard automotive industry processes supporting the company's target of a flawless launch.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead the development and implementation of the sites' LSS/CIF/OpA roadmaps to drive short-term and long-term business improvements. Lead self-assessments and enhance utilization of Lean and Six Sigma tools to eliminate waste driving customer satisfaction, cost reduction, and improved working capital performance. Work through the leadership team to prioritize improvement activities and close gaps.
- Assist in improvement activities including training, mentoring, facilitating Kaizen events, Six Sigma projects, tool deployment, benchmarking, etc.
- Assure deployment of Lean tools in the plant with special focus on new programs in early stage of deployment.
- Coordinate and support Continuous Improvement Workshops.
- Drive improvements and control the plant layout assuring lean material flow.
- Assure the sites follow Company's CI strategy and processes deployment.
- Coordinate CI activities for NA region supporting OPEX Manager for the Division.
- Guide and support NA plants for their CI goals execution and reporting the status.
- Build organizational capabilities through training, coaching and events execution.
- Facilitate and train 3P events for Manufacturing System Design and Material Flow plants wide.
- Lead the Cost Out program plants wide.
- Provide expertise in LEAN and process improvement tools/methods to the other functions of the organization to support them in their continuous improvement activities.
- Lead Strategy Deployment process and assure alignment with corporate strategy.
- Ensure compliance with applicable ISO 14001/EHS and ISO 9001:2008 (EQS) standards, procedures, and guidelines in his/her areas of responsibilities.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- BS Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, or related field)
- 10 years of experience in the Manufacturing Environment
- Six Sigma Certification
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Expertise on Problem Solving techniques
- Knowledge in ISO 9001 / IATF16949
- Knowledgeable in Lean, Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies.
- High organizational skills
- Strong team-building skills
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Bilingual, fluent in Spanish and English

- Ability to act with limited supervision
- Ability to lead dynamically cross functional work teams to respond to business needs
- Interpersonal communication skills and professional presence
- Planning and Management of resources.
- Planning and Control of budgets.
- Direct customer management experience desired
- Ability to develop and execute sustain operational performance and strategic growth
- Background in advanced manufacturing technologies such as MRP
