**Job Summary**:The Regional Controller oversees the accounting and finance functions for the two subsidiaries of Formerra LLC located in Mexico (Distribution Formerra Mexico S. de R.L de C.V. and Suministro de Especialidades, S.A. de C.V.). Provides leadership to local accounting team and performs ad-hoc management reporting and analysis as required by local management. Works with auditors, maintains internal control compliance and manages budgets for these entities. This role is to be employed by the newly formed shared service entity in Mexico. The role will be looked for assistance with the management of the shared service entity, as applicable, depending on the services being transitioned to this entity.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- This position is responsible for the managing the accounting teams in Mexico. Initially we have a local accounting team for Suministro and an outsourced accounting team for Formerra Mexico. We are looking to establish a shared service model for the accounting team in a newly formed shared service entity to cover both entities.
- Direct reports include the accounting manager at Suministro and the accounting team at WeConnect (outsourcing partner for Formerra Mexico).
- This role will work with the Chief Financial Officer and the Corporate Controller of Formerra to evaluate the requirements for a shared service entity to cover both Mexican entities and eventually assist with transactions for all North American entities of Formerra LLC.
- This role will report directly to the Corporate Controller of Formerra LLC located in Cleveland, Ohio. Additionally, this role will work directly with the the Director of FP&A, Senior Treasurer and Senior Tax Manager, all also located in the Cleveland office. This role will work each of these individuals on items ranging from budgeting and forecasting of costs, cash flow forecasts and information required for tax provisions and compliance.
- The role will be responsible for being current on local accounting pronouncements and review of unusual transactions for proper account and disclosure.
- Oversees certain statutory reporting requirements and government compliance reporting.
- Oversees the activities of the accounting department (general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable) for integration of all accounting issues and services, including accurate and timely financial statement production, billing and account statement production and disclosure development, and coordination on intercompany with other countries.
- Establishes and maintains systems and controls which verify the integrity of all systems, process, and data in a shared service environment.
- Reviews and assessment of valuation reserves (e.g. accounts receivable and inventory) environmental reserves, restructuring reserves, incentives compensation, workers' compensation, and self-insurance reserves.

- Proficient and with OneStream is a plus.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
- 10+ years' experience in finance management, financial systems, financial reporting, financial principles, financial analysis, accounting, budget management, strategic planning, and managing direct reports.
- Experience working in a shared service environment.
- Hybrid position (3 days required in Cleveland office with option to work up to 5)
