.**Regional Logistics Manager****SHAPE THE FUTURE OF MOBILITY FROM DAY ONE.****Connection Systems**The Key to Architecture Optimization.Aptiv delivers a full range of advanced connection solutions to make vehicles safer, greener and more connected with innovations in high voltage, data connectivity, electrical centers, safety-critical connectors and much more.The **Regional Logistics Manager **aims to design the framework and scope of work for the region to move goods and properly identify cost for the finance community in compliance with the global logistics strategy and suppliers.**Your Role**- Supports the development and execution of divisional transportation logistics strategies in accordance with global transportation strategy.- Monitors and coordinates premium freight to competitively award & establish service with carriers ensuring PTA system compliance.- Communicates with Program Management & Global Logistics and provides program launch estimates & volumes for ocean, air, rail and ground modes of freight cost.- PCL improvement and performance management- Monitors and reports consolidated transportation & logistics metrics.- Coordinates & supports logistics cost savings initiatives- Support organizational training for logistics programs Any other work activity related to your position and/or required by your immediate manager**Required Competencies/Skills**- Sound understanding of transportation logistics (Procurement, Management etc.)- Strong IT skills and highly proficient with Excel- Project management experience- Embraces change and is flexible, striving in a fluid environment- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, combined with keen sense of cultural awareness- Exceptional attention to detail**Your Background**- Bachelor's degree in a related field.- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Logistics, preferably in the automotive industry.- 2-3 years in a Management position.- Proven experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams.- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.- Development of tactical strategies to improve the operation.- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodology.**Why join us?**- **You can grow at Aptiv. **Aptiv provides an inclusive work environment where everyone can grow and develop, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or beliefs.- **You can have an impact **.
