Job Purpose and Impact
The Regional Manufacturing Excellence Leader provides overall regional governance and strategic direction in the way we safely and efficiently design, operate, maintain and improve our CQN facilities
Adopting the global guidelines from the CQN Global Manufacturing Excellence Leader and partnering with the Manufacturing Subject Matter Experts and the Plant Managers, as well as other central ANH and Cargill BOSC areas, she/he is able to address overall the strategy for Excellence in Manufacturing and Supply Chain
She/he will provide technical leadership to the Operations teams coordinating the Regional Manufacturing Excellence and promoting innovative and transformational improvements towards world class results
Lead the advancement of smart manufacturing strategy to unleash the power of automation, data and analytics in CQN in partnership with Global ME and assure the local execution Key Accountabilities
Partner with functional Leadership (Engineering, R&D, CSSP, Reliability, EHS, FSQR) to define the vision for regional development
Define the operational vision, direction and strategy with CQN Global Manufacturing Excellence Leader and direct the tactical execution at regional level
Develop strategic partnerships with customers to develop deep knowledge of the manufacturing setting
Sustain technically and strategically the Regional Operations Manager (ROM) Partner to develop preventive approaches for meeting efficiency standards and world class performance
Guide location production and engineering managers in reliability excellence and production excellence implementation
Ensure that standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness and performance are met in production.
Utilize broad and deep business and technical knowledge of function principles and practices to partner with leadership to develop and execute new methodologies across multiple plants and platforms.
Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions.
She/he will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in the regional organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs
Plan, prioritize and coordinate the responsibilities of employees.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Engineering career.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
Minimum of ten years of related work experience in Continuous Improvement environment
Proven supervisory experience in matrixial organizations
Strong technical knowledge of fish and shrimp feed production PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Operational excellence knowledge
Engineering and technology discipline knowledge
Experience with Continuous improvement tools, lean six sigma concepts and principles
Reliability and asset management experience
Capex management experience
Smart manufacturing knowledge
