Regional Material Cost Reduction Manager

Required Skills & Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Program Management or Business Administration- High level of analytical ability- High level of interpersonal, oral and written communication skills- Strong Organizational and Project Management Skills- Proficient in Microsoft office Tools- Ability to lead global teams with members in North America, Europe, and China-Experience in automotive industry- Preferred in Automotive Component Purchasing- Strong technical Background- Preferred experience in Program Management or EngineeringKey Responsibilities:- Provide leadership to the BWI Material Cost Reduction Program (MCIP)- Lead the MCIP Steering Committee-Coordinate with Purchasing managers for Price to Price and resourcing efforts-Coordinate with Engineering for VA/VE projects-Help drive VA/VE projects forward through the evaluation process and to implementation- Track MCIP adherence to Metrics- Form teams to facilitate cost improvement ideas and strategies- Supervise regional MCIP resources
