Location: Multisite (with frequent travel)Position Overview: The Regional Materials Manager will be responsible for overseeing the materials management operations across multiple manufacturing sites within the harness industry.
This role requires extensive experience in supply chain management, ERP systems, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective materials flow.Key Responsibilities:Manage and optimize the materials planning and inventory control processes across multiple sites.Ensure alignment of materials management strategies with company goals and customer requirements.Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve supply chain efficiency.Oversee the implementation and utilization of various ERP systems, such as AS400, Oracle, SAT, and Microsoft D365, to improve operational performance.Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure the timely availability of materials.Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the availability of quality materials at optimal costs.Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and applicable regulations.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance materials management efficiency across sites.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is required.Strong knowledge and experience with different ERP systems, including AS400, Oracle, SAT, and Microsoft D365.Proven experience managing materials functions in a multisite environment.Experience or knowledge of the harness, electrical components, or aerospace industry.High mix, low volume manufacturing experience.Implementation of ERP systems.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.Experience working under quality systems such as TS or AS.Advanced English proficiency.Excellent leadership and team coordination skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time to various sites.Valid passport and visa to facilitate international travel.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the automotive or harness industry.Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
