**Regional New Launches Engineer****Job description**:Applies scientific and technical knowledge in the design, development and implementation of engineering models, tools and/or processes. Responsible for planning and directing engineering programs/projects, setting priorities and allocating resources, and making necessary decisions on day-to-day operating matters. This role is responsible for cross-discipline activities and cannot be assigned to a specific engineering specialty.**Requirements**:- Four-year degree Materials/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering- Master's Degree is a plus- 1-3 years of experience in the automotive industry in R&D, NPI, Project departments- Extrusion, plastics and metalworking industry experience is highly desirable- Understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and core tools- Experience in managing Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities- Develop innovative solutions, evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)- English 90% written and spoken**Main responsibilities**:- Responsible for the new product introduction processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process- Champion all-new launch programs and conduct launch team meetings, maintaining the status of each as it relates to timing and budgets- Responsible for leading and executing projects focused on the variation reduction originated by process and/or design of the product that positively influences the business metrics, strategic direction, and financial results.- Monitor all existing production programs for continuous improvement in the areas of scrap reduction and increased efficiencies.- Ensure Project documents are created, maintained and updated via APQP structure with the understanding that this is a mandatory requirement.- Stays current with state-of-the-art machinery, tools, equipment and processes.- Performance management of the team and budget Follow-up for CAPEX/OPEX- Develop scalable testing and validation process for products at specified volumes**Skills**:- Excellent interpersonal skills; Self-driven and auto oriented- Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional requirements- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills- Competent in problem-solving, team building, planning, and decision making- Creative, out-of-box thinking, multi-tasking, self-motivated, self-maintained and able to take the initiative to solve problemsTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $1.00 - $1.10 al mesHorario:- Turno de 8 horasLugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
