This position will drive and develop a lean manufacturing culture and will lead improvement initiatives to our processes throughout the region. This position reports jointly to the regional SVP and the VP of Continuous Improvement. This position may have direct reports at sites thought-out the region.DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the region to drive overall improvements in specific areas to drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Innovation- Provide mentorship to the leadership team in developing a culture of continuous improvement throughout the region- Actively support the culture change towards continuous improvement by training, developing and implementing improvement processes, while using operational excellence tools- Identify a Continuous Improvement Roadmap and ensure its alignment with Creation's strategic development plans- Support the development of new products and manufacturing processes- Work closely with other functions in the region and mentor teams during lean implementation, to ensure forward momentum is maintained- Professionally construct problem statements, objectives, scope of work, planning steps, analytical thought processes, and conclusions / results- Maintain a professional presence, tact and courtesy, with the ability to build and maintain collaborative work relationshipsQUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other related functional areas, or equivalent experience- Experience in lean manufacturing cultural transformation, as a Continuous Improvement Leader, black belt, or similar role- 5 years' experience as a leader- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point- Experience in understanding financial metrics- If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!_We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other characteristic protected by law.Canada: Title for the position will be in accordance with applicable national and local laws.
