**Core Responsibilities**:
- Lead the development, deployment, and advocacy of the division Packaging Sustainability programs which are consistent with, draw from, and feed into our Global Packaging Sustainability strategy & goals.
- Lead flexibles monomaterial strategy and transition program
- Build and lead a division focused external engagement network for packaging sustainability with NGOs, Government Agencies, Recycling Value Chain and Infrastructure, Packaging Suppliers, and other organizations.
- Primary regional point of contact for Packaging Sustainability Initiatives within the Division
- Initiate and lead projects, which have the primary goal of advancing key Sustainability goals within the division.
- Work with internal teams, procurement, Marketing, Legal and others to help with understanding of key packaging sustainability issues and opportunities
**Key Competencies**
**Functional knowledge**:
- Well-versed in packaging / plastics issues, and sustainability best practices at global and regional FMCG companies.
- Has a well-developed network of contacts in the industry, including consultants and thought leaders that can be harnessed to advance Colgate-Palmolive capabilities in the division.
- Ability to leverage cross-functional partners to develop & implement programs. Can inspire and enroll teams in a vision.
- Managing Ambiguity: Can set direction, make decisions and recommendations in the face of uncertainty or conflict.
- Ability to balance multiple stakeholders, both across functions and geographics
- Strong presentation skills, speaking ability and interpersonal skills

- Data Savvy: Ability to use data & analytics to support perspectives, including LCA and other sustainability metrics

**Experience & Education**:
- Required: BS in environmental science, material science, engineering, or related
- Required: 7 years experience in Packaging and/or sustainability fields
- Preferred: Masters Degree in one of the disciplines above
